Get that Healthy, Glowing, Dewy Look for Summer!

1. Exfoliate at least once per week. You can’t expect a radiant glow when your skin is flaky and dry. Use a green tea facial scrub or exfoliating cream to scrub away dead skin cells and soften the skin. This will make your natural skin tone shine through.

2. Infuse skin with water and moisture at every opportunity.
The key to maintaining soft and healthy-looking skin all season is to avoid dehydration. Moisturizing, if outdoors with a sunscreen moisturiser to protect your skin from the elements. Make sure to apply a rich moisturizer or hydrating serum after cleansing and toning, and also overnight.

3. Use a facial mist. If your skin looks a little dry during the day you don’t have to reapply your makeup to look refreshed. Use a moisturizing facial mist (or just mix water and a dash of moisturizer) to blast skin with a layer of moisture. The mist will revive your skin in a flash, and help you get that fresh, dewy summer look, instantly.
4. Paw Paw for eyeshaddow, lips and cheeks.Use lucas paw paw ointment before applying eyeshadow, rub it neatly and then dust some golden/orange shimmery eyeshadow over it, it will look moisturized and fresh. Cheeks: Before applying a bronzer/ either a good liquid one or a powder/ make sure to rub some paw paw to give your cheeks a dewy moisture! A few drops of liquid bronzer mixed with moisturizer can create that natural glow. Blend outward and upward to create a contoured look. Finish with a light dusting of bronzer powder and you’re good to go. Note: Dust the bronzer in a ‘3’, which means just above your eyebrows down to your cheeks then back around to line your cheek bones, all in a ‘3’ shape around your face.
5. Concealer, foundations and powders:
Get rid of that foundation and settle for either nothing but natural moisturized skin or use a concealer. A concealer is perfect as you can just dab it on without having a plastered layer when trying to achieve a care free summer look! If you’re ditching the foundation in favor of tinted moisturizer, make your skin glow with the help of an illuminating powder. The powders contain flecks of minerals that add a touch of shimmer to your look and can make your skin appear more radiant. Just make sure you’re using a powder that is an exact match of your skin color /or the tone of your skin with your favorite bronzer/ to achieve a natural look.

Moisturisers and good products:
- Organic facial washes.
- Burts bees toner. (This stuff contains lemon and all things natural, it’s possibly the best for any skin type! Smells good as well!)
- Lucas paw paw
- Greentea oils and moisturisers!
- Apricot scrubs by st ives.
- Burts bees lip balm and scrubs.
- Sukin facial scrub
- Lavendar oil
- Cucumber! This can be used on dark lines, facial masks and as a toner!

Basically you’ll need a good moisturiser, facial scrub, paw paw, golden eyeshadow and a nice bronzer! Also a good mascara will make your eyes look amazing! Remember the aim of this is to look like you’ve just splashed a nice layer of water and you’re obtaining good health.
Another way to keep skin looking fresh for summer: Get plenty of sleep! Lack of quality sleep will take its toll on your skin and can make it difficult to achieve that moisturised look you want! AND DRINK LOTS OF WATER!
